Marked by a central lawn of 22,300 sq m, Victoria Park is one of the few decent open-air areas in Hong Kong. It is busy all day with Tai Chi practitioners doing exercise or young people using sports facilities of the park. It is also well renowned as the host of lively festivals held every year at the venue, namely, a flower market at Chinese Lunar New Year and a lantern display for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Other features include a bronze statute of Queen Victoria of 2.49 m high, 1.15 m long and 1.87 m wide.
