Morse Park was completed in 1967. Covering a total area of about 15.8 hectares, Morse Park provides a wide variety of recreational facilities. The 0.2 hectare Palm Garden is the most remarkable feature of the park. With a good collection of more than 80 palms of about 20 species, most of which are from Southeast Asia like the southern part of China and Taiwan. For top shots or close shots at eye level, the garden can be a mock-up of a Southeast Asian country like Malaysia.
