Ap Lei Chau Wind Tower Park
Lee Chi Road, Ap Lei Chau, Aberdeen, Southern District

Opened in September 2009, Ap Lei Chau Wind Tower Park is a waterfront promenade located at the northern shore of the island. It covers an area of 26,092 sq m with a design of traditional fishing harbour. It boasts a Wind Tower in the shape of a traditional fishing junk. From the vantage point of the tower's viewing platform, visitors can gaze across both sides of the Aberdeen typhoon shelter. There are electronic display lights installed on the tower, which change in colour with wind speeds and can be seen from afar. The park also features an exhibition gallery with more than 40 exhibits of Hong Kong's traditional fishing and shipbuilding industry. The exhibition gallery opens for free from 9 am to 9 pm daily while other facilities are open 24 hours.

The design of the park won a Merit Award in the Architectural Services Department's Annual Award 2010.
